Oral History Project -- Tell Your Story

BHP wants to identify people to interview about the everyday experiences of living in Bernal Heights--those who grew up here in the early 20th century, who moved here later in life, or who played a role in shaping the neighborhood. We have begun to record interviews, and we look forward to making these interviews available at the Bernal Heights Branch Library and the SF History Center in the downtown library.

In the future, this page will allow you to submit a short story. In the mean time, contact us or come to a meeting.

* Tell your story. Are you interested in being interviewed or know someone that you think should be interviewed?

* Become an interviewer. Would you like to do interviews? We have a training packet to help you learn how.

* Share your recording equipment. We need video and sound recording equipment.

* Do you like to type? We may need help transcribing interviews.
